LIFE OF A NEURON
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Society for Neuroscience (SfN), Life of a Neuron brings together decades of neuroscience data and research to create a cellular level journey through the human brain. Composed of both immersive and interactive installations, PIXELBLOOM is a technology-powered, real life journey through a vibrant world of virtual cherry blossoms. Inspired by the natural beauty of the cherry blossoms in full bloom, the exhibition presents enveloping and high resolution imagery that abstracts one’s spatial understanding and alters the perception of dimension to immerse visitors in a metaverse-like world.
